South Asia’s Pioneering Training Program for Intimacy Coordinators and Intimacy Directors.
We train professional Intimacy Coordinators and Intimacy Directors for theatre, film, and television across all South Asian/South East Asian industries, with a curriculum designed to meet global production standards.
This 20-week, industry-leading training program equips intimacy professionals to work confidently and ethically on international film and television sets, handling intimacy, nudity, simulated sex, gender-based violence, and sensitive content with precision, care, and creative intelligence.
Graduates are certified under The Intimacy Lab (India) in collaboration with the Intimacy Professionals Association (USA) (SAG-AFTRA accredited).
This program is an official extension of IPA’s globally recognised training framework, which has been certifying successful working intimacy professionals worldwide since 2019.
The training includes an advanced professional extension through which eligible participants graduate as certified Intimacy Coordinators and Intimacy Directors, ready to work not just across South Asian but also all international productions under unions like Equity, SAG-AFTRA, ACTRA, etc.
Cohort 1: Graduated January 2023 — South Asia’s first cohort of formally trained intimacy professionals working in multiple language industries.
Cohort 2: Graduated March 2025 — a diverse, highly skilled cohort entering the industry
